Booking FAQs

What requirements are there for bands interested in booking?

We ask that performers do the following when inquiring about a potential booking:

1) Be able to guarantee an audience of at least 30.

2) Have your own bill prepared (an opener selected).

3) Send samples of your music (as well as any opening acts) for review.

4) Be able to promote heavily on social media and/or physical flyer promotion.

What songwriting coverage do you offer as a venue?

Arbor Beer Lodge has ASCAP and BMI coverage.

What days/time slots are available?

We typically offer shows on Friday or Saturday. Time slots are either 6pm-8pm or 7pm-9pm. Once an inquiry is submitted available dates and times will be sent to you.

Are your shows 21+?

No. Arbor Beer Lodge is an all ages (until 9pm) venue.

What are your stage dimensions?

Roughly 9 feet by 25 feet.

What do you pay performers?

Our new payrate for 2024 is 25% of bar sales from show start until one hour after the show ends. Numbers are crunched the following day and checks will be mailed/hand delivered within three days. Venmo is also an option. You are welcome to promote the show as “donations encouraged”.

What sound system does your venue have?

Gear list is above. You are welcome to bring your own gear in addition to ours. Details can be worked out during the booking process.

Do we have a professional in-house sound person?

Currently co-owner James Pezet runs the sound, and has done so for every show held at ABL. However, you are welcome to bring your own sound person to manage the mixer if you’d prefer. This can be discussed during the booking process.
